  My sister is back in her house outside Houston; her oldest son and his family are still in a motel, since there is no electricity or running water at their place yet.

  Junior is fat, sassy, and his eyes are hugely better with his medicine (but he still doesn't like it).

   The Pack is de-stinked, though tonight 2 of them were out sniffing noses with Something, this something visible only as eyes shining a few inches off the ground....let's hope it was a barn cat....


   I've got to go to a doctor.  I haven't seen a "real" doctor (internist, whatever) since 1985, but I haz some weirdness, and it's recurring weirdness which is even scarier.

  Since I haven't been to a Dr since Himself retired, I must be APPROVED to be seen at the VA clinic.  Please hope for me that the paperwork goes through quick, and that they don't kill me by inflicting medical care upon me, and that my weirdness is not what it seems like it is.... 
   Church picnic tomorrow (if it ain't raining) and yippee!  son John coming to visit in a couple more weeks....

Thanks. I don't think it's anything that's gonna kill me, but I'm worrying anyway, and the delay for (sigh) paperwork doesn't help.....aaargh. Why on earth did I have to NOTICE stuff? Ignorance is indeed sometimes bliss!

I hope your paperwork goes through quickly and will pray for your health issues to be resolved.

I'm glad Junior is better with his medications :) and NO MORE STINKY KITTEHS!

Thanks - every prayer helps! Guess "issues" are what I get for avoiding Routine Medical Care for more than 20 years....

And you'd really think at least Old Cranky Dog would know to leave the stripey "kittehs" alone, since this was her THIRD dousing!

Good thoughts and prayers on the paperwork, may it set speed records!

And while I don't advocate the internet as a body's only medical resource, I have found it handy for checking out things on. Helps to be able to ask better questions, or checking out those big words the residents love to use :). Oh yeah, and checking up on any prescriptions. I work at a medctr but I'm the first to recommend to someone to be proactive in their health care and check stuff out. I've seen way to many first-year-med students :).
