  In a houseful of cats.  First we have The 3 Sisters - over the last week, they have become absolutely enamored of a cardboard box.  This box contained a replica "railroad" sort of lantern.  You would think ONE cat would be a pretty close fit.  But we get this -

   That's Bitty squuushing in at the front, and Punk lying on her side being squushed, and that ghostly kitty-face way back in the back is Toes - and they are all chirping to beat the band.  They spend ALL DAY at this. The little scraps of cardboard you see have been clawed from inside the box.  When they wear it through, I think 3 kitties are going to be heartbroken...

  And then there is Her Fuzzball Majesty, Tinkerbelle of the Hollow Tree.  SHe is adjusting to domestic life quite happily, thanks - don't think she misses being "wild and free" one tiny bit.  Now that she is a Big Girl (but not big enough yet to run loose amongst the big dog feet) she spends the day in our bedroom, along with several other bedhogs.   Today, she took her nap HERE -


   
   In the middle of Cocoa's teddy pile.  She is an alien being, sent to take over the world by the Power Of Cute.
