  Himself brought me a new chair.  It is a comfortable chair.  The seat is few inches higher than normal, so it is less painful for me to sit down and get up.  The arms are low, so they do not get in my way when I am stitching. It does not rock or move when I try to get up or down- a very very good thing on the days when I an not-so-steady.
    What is the problem with this chair?  This is the problem.  I have to wrestle for it almost every time I want to sit in it..... that's a combined 35+ pounds of cat there.....

 

  meanwhile, I am dying of curiosity about the deleted post from "modest dress"....  :-)

I was gone all day and stitching all evening, and thus missed it (whatever It was) entirely - now there is a mod-note that there will be a post about it after Shabbat.
I personally love a good flounce, though I try not to indulge in them nearly as often as I feel the urge... ;-)

Oh, well, if you feel sad and bereft of drama today, the perpetrator (lavendergem) has posted pretty much exactly the same thing in her own LJ.

I love watching drama that doesn't personally involve people I know.

Yes, that. At least some days, and particularly past my bedtime.

My own life I would prefer to be as drama-free as possible. Though that's difficult sometimes when you marry an Irishwoman to a Greek man!

I had to stop reading, or I'll be there all day and get nothing else done.

I don't comment often in "modesty", mostly because I've been around a great many blocks and have a take on it that might shock the bloomers of some of the Speshul Speshul Snowfwakes, but I read along because the mindset is interesting. (And yes, I do praqctice my own brand of modest dress. Just not so modest that it calls undue attention, which to me defeats the purpose, yes?) SOme days, the mindset gets really interesting. And funneh. ;-)
